Hanna Hurkot
Conductor
Born in 1997 in Wrocław, she is an outstanding conductor and pianist who has been involved in music from an early age. She began her education at the Karol Szymanowski General Music School, where she began learning to play the piano. From childhood, she was passionate about chamber music, and for 10 years she performed in a piano duet and an eight-hand quartet, which shaped her love for large sound and symphonic music.
In 2021, she completed her master's degree at the IJ Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the field of symphonic and opera conducting. She has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra and the Opole Philharmonic, where she implemented the "Conductor - Resident" program. Her artistic activity also includes conducting courses led by renowned teachers.
Hanna Hurkot has reached the semi-finals of international conducting competitions and is the winner of numerous awards and scholarships, including the Scholarship of the President of Wrocław. Her repertoire includes works from classicism to contemporary, and she has a special fondness for Polish composers.
In addition to her music career, she has trained in artistic swimming for 18 years, representing Poland in international competitions, and currently combines her passions as a trainer and choreographer in this field.
